The Whole Grain Initiative has launched two new working groups that are looking for members:
- The International Working Group on Whole Grain Intake Recommendations, chaired by Nicola McKeown, aims to consider whole grain recommendations around the globe, document the health evidence for varying intake levels, and reach a consensus on a recommended quantitative whole grain intake.
- The International Working Group on Whole Grain Sustainability, chaired by Keagan Ringling, aims to create knowledge of the whole grain supply chain, leverage existing research, and develop standardized systems approaches for understanding whole grain sustainability.
